Help & support

Help with GamePile, the game-backlog app for Android and iOS, and with this website. Start with the section that matches your problem; if none does, write to the developer.
1. Can't sign in?
If you have forgotten your password, reset it from the link below — the reset email goes to the address your account uses. If it does not arrive after a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder and make sure you entered the address you signed up with. If it still does not arrive, or your account has been suspended, write to [email protected] from that same address.
For your security, an account is discussed only with the person writing from its email address.
2. Contact the developer
GamePile is run by one developer, Mariusz Górski. Email is the way to reach him about anything: a problem with the app, a question about your data, or an idea. It helps to include:
You can write in English or Polish. There is no ticket system and no fixed reply time — every message is read by a person.
- your gamertag, if you have chosen one
- whether you use the app on Android or iOS
- what happened, and what you expected to happen
3. Confirming your email
Until you confirm your email address you can use the app fully, but you cannot reach other players. Your profile in the app shows a line offering to send a new confirmation link — use it if the first message never arrived or an older link no longer works.
4. Reporting or blocking someone
To report a diary entry, a recommendation or a gamertag, use Report in the menu next to it in the app. The report reaches the developer with the content attached, and the person you report is not told. The same menu lets you block them: neither of you will see the other anywhere in the app.
Email is for anything the app does not let you report.
5. Deleting your account
If you can sign in, open your profile in the app and choose Delete account, or use the Delete account section of your web panel. If you cannot sign in, the page below explains how to ask by email. Either way, nothing is deleted straight away: a person carries out the deletion within 30 days.
6. Your data and documents
Your personal web panel shows the history recorded on your account and lets you download your data as a file. The privacy policy explains what is collected and why; the terms of service set out the rules for using GamePile.
